The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power je prihajajoča Amazon Prime Video serija, ki bo slovela na zgodbah J. R. R. Tolkiena. Z januarjem 2022 je Amazon razveselil Lord of the Rings fane in predstavil naslov akcijsko pustolovsko akcijske serije. Amazon je novembra 2017 kupil televizijske pravice za The Lord of the Rings v vrednosti 250 mio $. Hkrati pa se je zavezal za vsaj 5 sezon serije v vrednosti vsaj 1 milijardo $.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power na Amazon Prime Video prihaja predvidoma septembra 2022
Serija The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power bo dostopna na SVoD storitvi Prime Video na več kot 240 trgih, tudi v Sloveniji. Premiera serije bo predvidoma 2. septembra 2022, nato pa bo vsak teden predvajan en del. 1. sezona bo obsegala 8 epizod. Je pa novembra 2019 Amazon že naročil 2. sezono serije.

Že pred začetkom serije vemo, da se je Amazon odločil za pompozno izdelavo naslova The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Naslov so namreč v kovaški livarni izdelali z vplivanjem stopljene kovine v ročno oblikovane vdolbine v lesu in tako ustvarili črke. Proces so posneli v počasnem posnetku in ga predstavili v napovedniku serije.
